May 15th | Branford To Milford |
Departed Bruce and Johnson Marina at 10:30 Am wind was from the SE at <10 knots We arrived at Milford Landing at 2:30 Pm. Milford Landing is a town owed marina. The people were Very friendly it is a must when in the area. They also have a hourly charge to dock there just incase you would like to go to Archie Moore's or any of the many eatery's downtown. We sailed over with Absoult they elected to stay on the hook at Charles Island while we elected to stay at the marina. We were fortunate to have a craft fair on the town green a very large green I must say. |
May 16th | Milford To Branford |
Departed Milford Landing Marina at 8:30 Am wind was from the ESE at 10 knots We arrived at Bruce and Johnson Marina at 12:30 pm. Over all this was a very pleasent trip totaling about 13 miles each way. There is a bit of a set while entering the break water in Milford. The cost at the Milford landing were $1.50 per foot per night. The restrooms were very clean and are seperate from the public restrooms. It includes a newspaper deleivered to the boat and free coffee in the morning. |
