Busy day. Our first anchorage was not good for the winds. We decided to do the Pungo/Alligator Canal and arrived at the new anchorage in the dark. While in the canal (Dredging being done) we ran aground (Off with no problem). We crossed the Albemarle Sound and Alligator River. Both are a tough crossing with SW winds. We took advantage of the NW wind to get across. Lesson to be learned is DON'T DO 76 Miles in one day.. |
